The U.S. Solid electric solenoid valve features a durable brass body, suitable for outdoor but not underwater use. It's favored by customers for DIY projects, moderate temperature and chemical applications, as well as for controlling flow in irrigation, reverse osmosis, and motorcycle systems.

Most U.S. Solid valves are unidirectional. This means they are intended to flow in one direction only, in the direction of the arrow. If connected in opposite directions, the valve will not actuate properly. Be sure the medium passing through is filtered to prevent gasket damage over time.

U.S. Solid Valves follow National Standards for pipe thread. We recommend using Teflon tape to ensure a tight seal. Make sure not to energize the valve for more than 8 hours to prevent overheating. Please follow polarity and gasoline and pressure warnings for proper usage.
